This exhibit which closes at the end of January, shows the work of 15 members of Fiber/ Dimensions. It is a collaboration of makers inspired but not limited to fiber. There are about 25 makers who are part of this creative group, who work with the traditional and natural fibers as well as wire, felt, zip ties, paper, metals, concrete, teabags, coffee filters and more. We have monthly meetings at which we offer constructive critiques to anyone who brings a piece to share. It has proven to be a very good way to share resources, to encourage good design and to validate the maker’s ideas. Our group is mainly based in Marin, San Francisco, the East Bay and Sonoma.
