A native of the California Bay Area, Alexandra Friedman designs and weaves hand woven tapestries in her Sausalito studio. Her wall hangings are usually woven with cotton, silk, linen, and occasionally synthetic fibers for effect. She has exhibited internationally and executed many commissions for corporations, liturgical buildings as well as private residences. She has experience working with architects, interior designers as well as private clients to create a unique tapestry for their interior space.
